The SocialBulls 101 – Introduction to Social Media and Social Media Management Workshop is designed to give attendees a basic and clear understanding of the core social media platforms that are crucial to your business.

We provide real examples and explain the strategies behind the most successful social media campaigns from a wide range of brands. We carefully tailor our SocialBulls 101 workshop to ensure that all attendees can develop their knowledge of social media and implement our strategies and recommendations to enhance and grow their business.

After attending a one-day introduction to social media training course, you will develop a strong understanding of:

  • The key features to create a successful social media strategy.
  • A strong understanding of social media best practices and tips
  • How to set up and use the key social media platforms including: Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and LinkedIn.
  • An introduction to key social media management and reporting tools to measure and manage the progress of your social profiles.
  • With enough time, we will also explore your content strategy and touch on more advanced topics like sponsored social media.

Who should attend the Introduction to Social Media Workshop?

This introduction social media management course is designed for individuals or teams connected to a business that have an existing presence or wish to bring their business into the social media world or individuals that would like to develop their personal brand and connect with the Calgary community.

Our team will teach all attendees the key components to setting up and developing social media profiles and campaigns along with the importance of creating a social media strategy to increase their business performance.

Previous attendees have included individuals that work from home, small business owners, marketing executives, directors, entrepreneurs, freelancers, educational institutions and more.

Courses run from 9:30AM – approx. 2:30pm at The Commons Calgary located at 150, 1900 – 11 Street S.E. Calgary, Alberta.

Following attendance at our workshop, you will gain access to the SocialBulls Alumni Resource Library where you can connect with your peers to ask questions and will benefit from  a 30 minute webinar scheduled 7-10 days following your social media workshop.

You can attend this SocialBulls workshop on its own, or pair the introduction workshop with our Advanced workshops as your social media skill sets develop.

TERMS & CONDITIONS
SocialBulls understands that schedules can change and despite a registrant’s best intentions they may not be able to attend a workshop. If a registrant is unable to attend the workshop an alternate delegate from the registrant’s company is welcome to attend in their place. If a substitute cannot be found, SocialBulls will accept cancellations and issue refunds under the following conditions:

Important dates:
The registration deadline is no more than 2 weeks before a workshop.
The cancellation deadline is no more than 4 business days before a workshop
Policies:
If SocialBulls cancels a workshop for any reason, all registration fees will be fully refunded.
Registration fees will be fully refunded if the registrant cancels prior to the registration deadline.
No refunds will be provided if the registrant cancels after the cancellation deadline or is a “no-show” at the workshop.

If the registrant cancels after the registration deadline but prior to the cancellation deadline, the registrant may choose to either:

  • Receive a partial refund of 50% of the registration fee, or
  • Apply the full amount as a credit for a workshop offered by SocialBulls within 6 months from the date of the original workshop. If SocialBulls does not host another workshop within this period, the registrant will have the choice of either holding the registration fee for an additional 6 months or receiving a refund of 50% of the registration fee.
